Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalog, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Checkout" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.

We accept Visa and Mastercard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet.

Shipping And Handling

All items are posted via Royal Mail. First Class within the UK and by Airmail to other EU Countries

Delivery Schedule

We will normally dispatch your order either same day or within one working day. International orders are generally received in under 8 days (subject to local mail)

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed or telephoned with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. If the order cannot be dispatched within 28 days it will be cancelled and you will be refunded in full.

Tax Charges

Orders made for delivery in the UK and EU will include UK 17.5% VAT where appropriate. If you are an organisation that is exempt from VAT then please contact us directly and we will arrange to invoice you accordingly if appropriate. We reserve the right to adjust the VAT element if this changes from 17.5%.

Orders made for delivery outside the UK and EU will not be charged VAT. Liability for local import duties and taxes remain the responsibility of the purchaser.

Credit Card Security

Health Sentinel and Lloyds TSB/Cardnet take online security very seriously. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site and will not be stored longer than is necessary.

Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the "Remember Me" option. If you have disabled cookies for any reason you transaction with us will fail but you can, if you wish, delete cookies from your temporary internet files once you have completed your transaction.

We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service. Information that we hold about you will not be disclosed to any third party. The type of information we will collect about you includes:

The receipt of order email that you receive from us will confirm the information as you have given it to us. At that time if you do not want to receive further mailing from us you will be asked to reply typing "no mail" into the subject box. Upon receipt we will ensure that your details are excluded from our mail list.

The information we hold will be accurate and as up to date as your last contact with us. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.

The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy.

Returns Policy

If you are not satisfied with the item you have purchased or if it is in any way faulty please return to us within 14 days and we will replace the item free of charge or refund your money as appropriate.

We can not accept return of items once used or opened for hygiene reasons, however, if product is damaged in transit please contact Health Sentinel Ltd and we will replace or refund your money.

Telephone calls will be charged at standard prevailing rate.

Legal

Any dispute will be subject to UK law.

Health Sentinel Ltd reserves the right to refuse any transaction and any goods displayed on our web site are on an "invitation to treat" basis, even accepting payment is not actual acceptance and we reserve the right to return such payment.
